Genesis Coinbase Transaction
The genesis coinbase transaction mined by Satoshi Nakamoto, awarding 50 BTC to 1A1zP1eP5QGefi2DMPTfTL5SLmv7DivfNa and embedding the headline “The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks” in the coinbase message. Its nonstandard format renders the reward unspendable, establishing the first block of the Bitcoin ledger.

First Non Patoshi Attributed Coinbase Transaction
The earliest coinbase transaction identified as outside the Patoshi mining pattern, based on extranonce clustering that distinguishes Satoshi’s early block production from other miners. While the Patoshi method can strongly support a “non-Satoshi” classification, attribution to a specific individual remains historical and circumstantial rather than cryptographically proven, marking one of the first verifiable signals that Bitcoin’s block rewards were being mined beyond a single originator.
